This model includes a more robust steel element disc-pack providing higher torsional stiffness while still accepting limited shaft misalignment. Using high grade steel hubs clad in a black oxide finish, the SFF-(N) offers exceptional corrosion resistance paired with high torsional stiffness and strength. The disc pack and open design of the coupling minimizes conductive heat transfer from motor to output shaft. Single-Flex and Double-Flex configurations are available. Hubs can be configured with clamp-style, keyway / setscrew-style, or tapered shaft connections.
