The 102 model Butt-Shaft Type 11 armature is intended for a butt-shaft connection, basically serving as a clutch-coupling connecting two independent shafts. The input shaft links to the rotor half of the clutch, while the armature attaches to the output shaft, or vice versa. Please consult the instruction manual during installation, as this device needs a pre-set air gap along with and perpendicularity / run-out tolerances for proper function.
