BSZ Model Brakes
The BSZ is similar to the 111 brake, but offers easier installation and higher performance with its integrated bearings. Setting an air gap is unnecessary, as this is pre-set from the factory. Also, the armature hub is positioned internal to the stator. This design provides a smaller vertical profile when your equipment design requires a minimal size envelope. This type of brake acts as power-on engaged, so it stops rotation and holds postion when energized.
The main difference between the BSZ and the 111 brakes is that the BSZ has an integrated bearing to allow for easy mounting (without air-gap adjustment). The 111 does not have internal bearings.
